音标(International Phonetic Alphabet)是记录音素的符号，也是音素的标写符号。

我国采用的是DJ英语音标共48个音素，其中20个元音音素，28个辅音音素。

在英语音标学习中我们通常采用宽式音标（board transcription）来区别音标和单词，即用双左斜线//表示。 如：left /left/。

元音（20个）

双元音是由两个单元音构成的一种元音，作为一个音节。
