每篇范文都有配音，在同名公众号“英语考试Cat”你好呀，我是来自加拿大的雅思外教Mac。无论是准备英语考试，还是平时练习英语口语和写作，毫无疑问是需要多练的。在练习的时候可以尝试用新学到的词，替换之前一直在用的基本词。学以致用，用会了才是你的。
今天，我从英语母语人士的角度，教给大家10个高分词&短语。可以让你的英语口语和写作瞬间增色。(以下的S表示Speaking，W表示Writing)
— 10个高分词汇&短语–
#1 however (S & W)
“however”这个词不陌生吧？常用来展示一个主题的两个相反方面，但很多同学在英语口语或写作中经常忘记用。
举个例子：
I believe so, yes, I think people do not exercise enough; however, I also believe exercising is becoming more popular, especially among young people.
#2 Subsequently (S & W)
这个词的意思是“然后”，“那之后”，“所以”，可以用来替换你常用的”so”, “as a result”, “after that”。举个例子：
We became friends because we had a lot in common; subsequently, we have been best friends ever since.
#3 As (S & W)
这个词有很多含义，其中最常用的意思是”因为”，可以用”as”替换你常用的because，后接原因。举个例子：
I received a great score on the exam, as I had spent a great deal of time studying the material.
As I had spent a great deal of time studying the subject material, I received a great score on the exam.
#4 Mind you (S)
这个词英国人用得比较频繁英语日常口语问答汇总英语日常口语问答汇总：雅思外教教你10个高分词&短语，让你的口语和写作瞬间加分，意思是”然而；但是；尽管这样”，可以用来替换你常用的”nevertheless”和”however”，表示转折。举个例子：
I don’t like apples, mind you, I love apple juice.
#5 Nevertheless (S & W)
“Nevertheless”跟”mind you”的意思差不多，但”nevertheless”更正式，通常放在句首或者分号后边。在口语中可以用来替换你常用的”despite this”，”in spite of that”(尽管……)。举个例子：
I do my best not to eat sweet things. Nevertheless, once and a while I can’t help myself and will indulge in chocolate.”
#6 In fact (S & W)
这个短语是一个很好用的路标词，用来表强调，意思是“事实上”。比如：
I love apples, in fact, I have an apple a day!
#7 Especially (S & W)
这个词是一个很好用的路标词，后接更多的细节，意思是“尤其是”。比如：
I love eating fruit, in fact, I especially love apples.
#8 Without a doubt (S & W)
“Oh yes, without a doubt …” 其实就是”Yes”的加强版。举个例：
– Do you like fruit?
– Oh yes, without a doubt, I love fruit, especially apples.
#9 Off the top of my head (S & W)
别人问你一个问题(尤其是是问时间或数据)，你不太确定准确答案的时候，可以用”Off the top of my head”来引出你首先想到的东西, the first thing that comes to your mind. 比如：
– When was the last time you bought a new pair of shoes?
– Off the top of my head, I guess that would be last year. (这里的off the top of my head表示说话人一时想不起买鞋的具体时间)
#10 Give me a second please to think about it
当被问道比较难回答的问题的时候(尤其是雅思口语的Part 3部分)，可以用这句来给自己争取思考时间。
